How to flash ClockworkMod Recovery for the Nexus 4

With ClockworkMod Recovery, you can use your Nexus 4 to its full potential. Installing this custom recovery will give you a chance to optimize your Nexus 4 experience.  Though your Nexus 4 may revert to stock recovery after you’ve flashed CWM Recovery, a patch called Revert Recovery Disabler can prevent this process.

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • LG Nexus 4 E960
  • Download the following:
  • Make sure your device’s battery still has at least 70% power. You don’t want the device to shut down in the middle of the procedure.
  • Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data.
